2.11 Installing Rattle on Windows using Inno
Before installing Rattle be sure to install R as detailed in Section 2.10 and add the location of the R executable to your PATH environment variable.
Then download the self-extracting exe installer:
You can also download the exe from the command line if you have wget installed:
Run the exe file (double tap). You may be asked to give permission to run the app. Tap on the More info link in the popup and then the Run anyway button as in the screenshots below. This will install Rattle. You will be asked to agree to the License, optionally to create a desktop shortcut (a good idea), and then to tap the Install button.
If you come across any problems installing or running Rattle on Windows see Section 2.13.
However, a common issue is that you may be presented with the following screen after starting to run the Rattle self-installer. You can tap the More info link to proceed.
After tapping the More info link you will see just a little more information. You can tap the button Run anyway to choose to install Rattle on your system. Be sure that you obtained the exe file mentioned from the Togaware repository using the link above.
