Before you install Rattle please be sure that R is installed, as detailed in Section 2.1 and be sure to install the required R packages.

Download rattle_dev_amd64.snap
The dangerous refers to side-loading the app from outside of the snap store. This will not be required for the snap store version but for this development version we are side-loading the package.
Run the app from /snap/rattle/current/rattle. Running from the
default install location as /snap/bin/rattle fails to start up R. We
are investigating.
